Synopsis

Lateefah Adeleke 30, is a gorgeous and charming business woman who claims to travel the world and rub shoulders with societies crème-de-la-crème and lives the softest of the soft life. One day Lateefah crosses part with Jide Rhodes 35, a dashing business man. Jide who is one of the most eligible bachelors in Lagos is convinced that Lateefah is the girl of his dreams as she brings him happiness and helps him in securing a very lucrative government contract. He brings her home to meet his family because he could not wait to make her his completely. Sadly, Lateefah is not who she claims she is as she was raised in abject poverty and is the only child of an illiterate mother. She lives in a dilapidated face me I face you building with eccentric neighbors. Her cool manners, fancy clothes and wild claims are a result of her greatest strength: Telling LIES. She is unmatched in brilliantly weaving stories about her pedigree and position in life because her love for knowledge and learning has exposed her to the life of the rich and famous.
